GERT DESIGN cushions and GERT ART & DESIGN artwork are made by Gertjan Holleman. 

After 4 years Academy of Art "Willem de Kooning" in Rotterdam, where he studied Fashion Design, he travelled the world as a fashion model. After these 7 years he started his own model agency MAX Models Rotterdam. 

During these years he had 3 exhibitions, one in his studio/atelier in Maassluis, one at Mr. B in Amsterdam and one at The Black Tulip Hotel Amsterdam. 

When he sold his model agency in 2014 he moved with his husband Johan Verveer to Ibiza. Here came the idea to "go back to his roots" and start designing again. After two inspiring trips to China he came with his first collection Home Decor cushions, Garden cushions and Art work. Beautiful things on the sofa and above the sofa.
